We spent Memorial Day with my wife's family. She has a Great Uncle James who I got to spend a little time with today. He fought during World War II and liberated some of the concentration camps in Germany. He is now 83 years old. I am attempting to grow a garden this year at our place (corn, beans, tomatoes, squash, etc.). He gave me a tour of his garden and I was amazed at the skill. I have a lot to learn. Here is a pic from World War II and one I took today on his porch.

Dear Mrfoto. I think these pictures of your wife`s uncle are outstanding. You can see the wisdom in the face of this man as well as the kindness. The freedoms that we share today are thanks to one of these special people. I am sure that your family is very proud of him as I am my brother who is also in the military.
